Hello, Recently I've been looking into buying a eink tablet mostly for note taking and reading PDFs (but I wouldn't mind the ability to read ebooks as well) and I found a used Boox Nova Air 1 and a Remarkable 2 around my price range (the Remarkable 2 is a bit more expensive but it's a 20€ difference so it's not absurdly higher priced). Remarkable is so much better when it comes to writing, and viewing notes on their companion apps. Boox Note Air3- so far my favorite device. No bugs so far, screen is great, battery lasts for ever, writing feels great, ability to search notes for keywords the best so far. I would not get the Boox Note Air3 C.
