Happens rarely in solo play, but does still happen. I'd argue I have solid internet and I can't even remember, off the top of my head, the last time I've had lag spikes in a online game. I play on Ragnarok EU and I'm located in Denmark.

If I Google the FIOS problem with FFXIV, Square Enix blames two things: AlterNet or Verizon categorizing FFXIV data as P2P. So I did a traceroute to various FFXIV servers according to arrstatus. FPS in-game with OBS open is somewhere around 90-100, but in OBS its actually showing something closer to 5-15.
